Rittenhouse is ecstatic about the Depp-Heard decision, and he took to Twitter to express his gratitude, claiming it gives him the impetus he needs to press on with the many defamation litigation threats and fundraising efforts he has been making for months.
“Johnny Depp trial is just fueling me,” Rittenhouse tweeted
It’s time to hold the media accountable in court for their malicious lies, defamation and propaganda.
I’m looking forward to working with Todd McMurtry! He’s been helping my friend @N1ckSandmann and I’m excited to now have him my the team. https://t.co/TBvYIHA6jN
He announced that Todd McMurtry would be representing him. McMurtry is best known for representing Nick Sandmann, the Covington Catholic high school student who clashed with a Native American activist at the Lincoln Memorial in January 2019.
He has helped Sandmann reach settlements with CNN, the Washington Post, and NBC in defamation proceedings so far. In Rolling Stone’s lawsuit against the New York Times and other media outlets, Plaintiffs are currently pursuing legal action.
My job is to lead the campaign to choose which people to sue when to sue, where to sue, and how to sue them.” “According to what McMurtry told Fox News, To begin, we’ll take a look at all of the comments that have been made and see which ones are legally actionable.
There are “probably 10 to 15 solid [defendant] cases,” McMurtry said, adding, “I am confident.”
It’s now “off to the races in our effort to make some powerful propagandists accountable for deliberately and dishonestly abusing my kid,” Wendy Rittenhouse said in an email to supporters.
Right-wing media outlets interviewed Rittenhouse in the weeks following his acquittal, and he named many people he said he planned to sue for dubbing him a murderer or white nationalist.
Nevertheless, only one person was mentioned by McMurtry on Thursday: Mark Zuckerberg.
“Consider what Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg had to say about [Rittenhouse] as an example,” McMurtry stated. “They said that he had been involved in a mass murder. ‘ As far as I know, this wasn’t mass murder. It was patently untrue. Using the term “mass killer” to describe someone is a criminal defamation offense. This is a genuine attempt to delegitimize his persona by effectively censoring any views that take issue with his “mass murderer” statement on social media…
After a request for comment from VICE News, Facebook did not answer.
It didn’t take long for people who thought Rittenhouse had been treated unfairly to take notice of his acquittal.
In the wake of his rapid rise to prominence on the right, the youngster launched the Media Accountability Project earlier this year as a fundraising mechanism to help him pursue lawsuits against a number of media and Big Tech targets.
In the past, Rittenhouse has stated that he plans to target “a few politicians, celebrities, and athletes” in his fundraising efforts.
When the jury found him not guilty, Whoopi Goldberg dubbed him a “murderer,” he tells the New York Daily News. Rittenhouse told Fox News in February that “she went on to still repeat that.”
Cenk Uygur of the Young Turks has also been listed as a defendant in Rittenhouse’s lawsuit.
Aside from McMurtry, Rittenhouse and Sandmann share an interesting legal connection. Lin Wood, a conspiracy-obsessed Trump supporter, has previously endorsed both. For statements he made on Telegram, Wood was sacked from Rittenhouse’s team while Sandmann fired Wood because he accused the lawyer of stealing money from the defense fund for the adolescent.
Does Rittenhouse have a legitimate basis to reference Depp-Heard in his own legal case other than utilizing phrases from the hugely popular and divisive Depp-Heard trial to draw people from social media to the online contribution buttons for his Media Accountability Project? According to the experts, this is a major stretch.
ISTHATPORKS TAKE:
There are two things that overrule Kyle Rittenhouse and George Zimmerman’s actions and that’s something they both don’t have. “Common Sense”. Let me prove my point-In Kyles’s case he drove across state lines to get to an area he had no business being in and ended up killing someone. In George’s case, after he made a call about what he thought was suspicious activity, he was told “we don’t need you to do that” by the 911 operator. Here’s the proving of the case- if George didn’t have so much pork built up in his brain, he would’ve understood the moment, heard the angel in the room in the disguise of the 911 operator, not follow Trayvon Martin, and no one would’ve been killed. In Kyles’s case, if he didn’t have so much pork in his brain, to begin with, he would’ve just minded his own business, stayed home, played video games and no one would’ve been killed on his watch. In both situations, they could’ve avoided what is present today in both their lives and in the lives of others by just “MINDING YOUR OWN BUSINESS!” but somehow, someway people just don’t know how to “MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS!” now they are forever part of the problem instead of the solution in a situation they attached themselves to because they just couldn’t “MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS!” like many, they probably will never understand that our moments are the “Atoms” to the next steps of life and if we don’t choose them correctly we can affect someone permanently and leave a black hole big enough to affect many generations to come. Just look around, they’re in the news right?”When Pork Meets Pork Meets Pork”That’s what that’s called. What a legacy these guys have created. But who’s gonna keep eating what they prepared is the question. Is it you?

Pictures and videos of dozens of people lying on the streets of the trendy Seoul area of Itaewon are currently making the rounds online, with many of them receiving chest compressions from passersby and emergency personnel.
It's clear from the reaction that the scenario is extremely chaotic, and the visuals are unsettling because many of the people in them don't appear to be conscious.
Ground reports indicate that over a hundred people were hurt, with many reportedly suffering cardiac arrest. Photos show police placing tarps over what appear to be dead bodies, suggesting a high death toll, although the New York Times reports only 2 confirmed deaths.

Marcus Webster (19), Swazine Swindle (17), Kevin Payne (16), and Ahjanae Harper (14), according to the New York Post.
Kia, the destroyed vehicle, was reported stolen on Sunday night, according to Buffalo police. Police think the youngsters took the vehicle to take part in “The Kia Challenge,” a viral challenge on the video-sharing platform TikTok in which users are shown how to hot-wire a Kia, a South Korean automobile, using only a screwdriver and a USB connection.
According to WIVB, “five of the six occupants, were ejected.”
The unidentified 16-year-old driver of the stolen vehicle was reportedly one of two people who survived the crash and received treatment at Erie County Medical Center. According to the source, the driver has been arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property and illegal use of a vehicle.
While he awaits his court date today (Friday, October 28), police have freed him on bond.
A 14-year-old girl was the other lucky survivor; she was taken to the hospital and treated in intensive care before being released.

California, STOCKTON — Suspect in the shooting deaths of six men and the injury of a woman in Northern California was apprehended early Saturday morning as he drove around Stockton with a revolver, authorities said.
Five of the shootings took occurred in this city in the Central Valley, and police began following leads on the culprit around 2 a.m., according to Police Chief Stanley McFadden’s press conference.
Stockton resident Wesley Brownlee, 43, “was out hunting,” according to McFadden. Brownlee wore a mask and all black clothing.
He then stated, “We are sure we stopped another killing.”
For some time, it was unclear if Brownlee was represented by counsel. On Tuesday, he is scheduled to be formally charged with murder.
The black and gray weapon the guy was reportedly carrying was seen on police camera. A semiautomatic handgun made of what looked like plastic and rubber.
Between July 8 and September 27, five men were ambushed and shot dead in Stockton, and police had been seeking for a man in black who had been seen at multiple murder scenes. A car was parked, and four people were walking.
A man was killed in Oakland, 70 miles distant, in April 2021, and a week later, a homeless lady was injured in Stockton; police suspect the same individual was responsible for both attacks.
Ballistics testing and surveillance footage, according to investigators, proved the crimes were related.
A moment of silence was observed at the press conference in honor of the victims.
On April 10, 2021, Juan Vasquez Serrano, 39, was shot and murdered in Oakland; on April 16, 2021, Natasha LaTour, 46, was shot but survived in Stockton. Five men were slain in Stockton this year: 35-year-old Paul Yaw on July 8; 43-year-old Salvador Debudey Jr. on August 11; 21-year-old Jonathan Hernandez Rodriguez on August 30; 52-year-old Juan Cruz on September 21; and 54-year-old Lawrence Lopez Sr. on September 27.
Brownlee has a criminal background, according to the police, and he is thought to have lived in other places in the Stockton area.
Hundreds of leads poured in when authorities announced the manhunt, and investigators were able to track down and keep a close eye on Brownlee’s residence.
With the help of information from the public and Stockton Crime Stoppers, police were able to narrow in on a likely culprit, as McFadden explained. “Our agents kept tabs on him as he drove around. We observed his behavior and realized he was on a killing spree first thing this morning.”
McFadden further mentioned that Brownlee was held because he had been seen going to parks and other dimly lit areas, stopping to look around, and then continuing on.
They were looking into the attacks to see if they could determine a reason for them. The police reported that some of the victims were homeless but not all. No one was hurt, and the one woman who made it out alive claimed her attacker was silent.
The police chief acknowledged the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United States Marshals Service, and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
Investigators in the area have teamed up with their counterparts in Chicago to look into the possibility of a connection between these slayings and two homicides that occurred in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood in 2018. A man in black with a peculiar walk was spotted on surveillance footage, according to the authorities.
