L.A.’s homeless advocates are stunned by Joe Rogan’s’repulsive’ podcast comments about shooting homeless people.

Several of Los Angeles’ unhoused advocates were taken aback and disappointed by Joe Rogan’s recent offhand comment to podcast guest Tom Segura that “Maybe you should just go shoot the homeless folks.”

This week on the Joe Rogan Experience, the host and Segura discussed the issue of homelessness in Los Angeles. L.A.’s homelessness crisis and the city’s response to crime were compared by the cigar-smoking duo, who aired some disturbing notions. Comments by Segura and Rogan are transcribed here.

Tom Segura: When you see stuff like that on the streets, at least in Los Angeles or California, that’s protected property. Like by law. That’s that’s person’s property by law.

Joe Rogan: Oh, a homeless person’s property is protected?

Segura: Absolutely. If you were to try to move that or take that—

Rogan: You’d get arrested. Hilarious. But they wouldn’t arrest you if you shot somebody. Maybe you should just go shoot the homeless people.

Segura: I like your ideas.

Rogan: And if nobody claims it. I mean nobody does anything about violent crime in LA anymore.

Bales went on to extend an invitation to Rogan so that he could better understand the conditions that thousands of Los Angeles residents live in.

“Usually when I get in a case like this, with somebody with a lot of influence and responsibility, I invite them to come see what’s happening on the street and get to know the people that they’re talking about,” Bales said. “I would invite Joe to come to Union Rescue Mission to see, not only our work, but see what’s happening on the streets and who these people are who he’s talking about.”

It’s the latest in a series of controversies for Rogan. Earlier this year, doctors, nurses and scientists urged Spotify to “implement a misinformation policy” regarding COVID-19, citing “The Joe Rogan Experience” and its “concerning history of broadcasting misinformation” regarding vaccinations and alternative treatments. The situation ultimately led to musicians like Neil Young and Joni Mitchell removing their music from the streamer in protest of its partnership with Rogan.

Spotify is the exclusive streamer of Rogan’s show, which leads as the company’s most-listened podcast. Spotify inked a multiyear deal with Rogan in 2020, reportedly worth more than $100 million, for exclusive rights to distribute “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

ISTHATPORKS TAKE:

JOG ROGAN is back. The last time we commented on Joe Rogan was when he famously so eloquently described a black area in which he was watching a Movie as being like the planet of the apes. After that, a few months later he then went on to include an Ape on an Instagram post he published relating to something else and we told him there that he should probably stay away from all things Ape until further notice. Wasn't a good look for a person who claimed to have apologized about the original comment is slickly talking about Apes again even if in a different fashion. That further notice obviously has come up now with his new comment about shooting homeless people. Here's our message "some people just can't get out the way of themselves. When people show you who they are, believe them. But people like Joe have all type of balance problems when it comes to other people. They have NO PEACE. They claim peace but they don't know it. Joe's the type of guy that'll say I have Black friends, I have a Spanish friend but really doesn't like either one of them. So and so forth. People like that are finger pointers of people, places and things outside themselves. They claim VICTIM. Forever victims actually. They never been told or took a second to think that maybe the PROBLEM IS THEM. So here's to JOE. The problem is "YOU". Once again "YOU'RE PORK!" But wait, we know what he's gonna do now, he's gonna go on an apology or a "you guys took it the wrong way tour". haha ...That's funny. So funny we won't be listening to Joe's bullshit... haha ... We'll see Joe at his next PORK moment. At his rate, we're sure it's just right around the corner ...haha

Don Lemon calls out Meghan Markle’s privilege as she admits to never experiencing ‘full black treatment’ until Prince Harry.

After Meghan Markle said she wasn’t treated like a Black woman until she started dating Prince Harry, CNN presenter Don Lemon needed to get some things off his chest.

According to earlier reports, the Duchess of Sussex spoke with Grammy winner Mariah Carey on the second episode of Carey’s Archetypes podcast on Spotify, titled “The Duality of Diva,” released on Tuesday.

In it, they talked about the difficulties of identifying as a multiracial woman with fair complexion, who is neither entirely black nor fully white.

Lemon then pointed out Markle’s privilege as they discussed the contents of the podcast.

“What she is coming from is a place of privilege where she did not have to deal with racism until she married a white man,” Lemon said during the Wednesday broadcast of New Day. “And she’s got all this criticism and all this attention. And suddenly she understood or understands what it’s like to be part of a group of people, especially women in this country or in Europe, who are discriminated against.”

He applauded her for addressing racism but criticized her for not knowing about the “whole Black treatment” in America.

He continued, “Actually, I think it’s an eye-opening podcast and I commend Meghan Markle for going there, even though it is a bit shocking that at 30-something years of age, she is just understanding what it’s like to be a Black woman in America. It’s a bit surprising to me.”

He further, offering his thoughts on how people would view her mixed-race heritage.

“She was a mixed woman. People didn’t really know how to react to her. They didn’t know if she was Black or white, but she didn’t get the full Black treatment because people weren’t sure that she was, you know, Black,” he added. “I think most African Americans probably looked at her and said, ‘Oh, I know that’s a Black woman,’ but I think the larger culture may not have realized that.”

Markle’s new podcast is currently the most popular in the United States on Spotify, surpassing even Joe Rogan’s longtime reign at the top.

Gary Busey pants-down in public?

Never Pork

The actor’s representative is giving Gary Busey the benefit of the doubt after he exposed himself in public.

A spokesman for Busey, 78, has stated that the actor frequently sits on the bench in front of his home to meditate while gazing out over the ocean.

Our best estimate is that he was too old to know he needed to use the restroom quickly, which would explain his actions on the seat in the video.

The “Point Break” actor was arrested for sex offenses on Friday, and on Saturday, paparazzi caught him in the act across the street from his California home.

Our sources said that a representative for Busey said that the bench where the incident took place is on private property.

However, the incident was caught on camera, so we know it happened in plain sight.

Busey can be seen in camera footage relaxing on a seat close to his Malibu house, his black sweatpants tucked in at the knees, and a broad grin stretching over his face.

It looked like the actor untied his jeans and crossed his hands over his legs to pull them up. Busey may have dropped them because he had to use the restroom, but that hasn’t been confirmed. The fact that he took them off in public is nothing new for him.

In 2014, Busy participated on the UK version of “Celebrity Big Brother” and got into a dispute with many housemates after he took his pants down during filming.

When my lateral knee pops out, I have to sit down and re-wrap it. Busey said on-screen, “You haven’t been to the doctor,” to explain why he undid his pants. You don’t have a bad knee because you’ve never had one.

On Saturday, Busey was filmed by paparazzi without adjusting what appears to be a knee problem, however we cannot guarantee that this is actually the case.

Earlier this month, Busey was accused of groping two people at a “Monster-Mania” conference in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Due to the claims, he was charged with criminal sexual contact on two separate occasions, criminal attempt/criminal sexual contact on a third occasion, and harassment on Friday.

After a near-fatal motorbike accident in 1988, Busey’s loved ones say he developed a new disposition.

A 2019 feature in the Hollywood Reporter states that the crash left him “more impulsive, prone to wrath, and delusions of grandeur.” This is due to damage to the frontal lobe of his brain.

Busey’s eldest son, Jake, remarked at the time, “The post-accident version of him ramped his personality up to an 11. “It’s like if my dad died on December 4, 1988.”

Ezra Miller, star of the CW’s “The Flash,” has been arrested on charges of felony burglary in Vermont. Miller is accused of stealing “many bottles of alcohol” from an empty house.

An incident on County Road in the town of Stamford, Vermont, occurred on May 1 at 6 p.m. local time, according to a police news release. Miller was located by police about 11:30 p.m. on a Sunday, and they were given a summons to appear in Vermont Superior Court in late September.

Based on their preliminary investigation, Vermont State Police concluded that “many bottles of alcohol” were stolen from the residence while the homeowners were away. “Probable cause was discovered to charge Ezra M. Miller with the offense of felony burglary into an unoccupied house as a result of an investigation that included surveillance footage and statements.”

After being accused of grooming a minor earlier this year, the “Fantastic Beasts” actor is now facing felony burglary charges. The teen’s parents accused the actor of physical and emotional abuse and obtained a protection order against him.

Miller was detained and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment in late March after allegedly becoming “agitated” with other patrons and “yelling obscenities” at the karaoke bar where they were drinking in Hawaii.
