Teresa Giudice’s wedding to Luis Ruelas is coming up, and her loving ex-husband Joe Giudice is speaking out about it.
“I’m very happy for her. She deserves all the happiness in the world,” Joe, 50, exclusively told Us Weekly on Monday, August 8. “I think Lou is a good guy. Anything negative being said out there are just rumors that I don’t engage in. Until I personally discover otherwise, he’s OK in my book.”
Joe also mentions that both his and Teresa’s weddings were “equally as significant and beautiful in their own individual ways.
Joe gushed, “Teresa looked like a princess” when asked about the 50-year-old bride who wore a white mermaid-cut, strapless wedding dress, sheer gloves, and a huge tiara throughout the ceremony.
Joe has nothing but praise for the reality star and her new husband, and he also said that his bond with his four daughters with the cookbook author is as strong as ever: Gia, 21, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 12. “We talk every day. Everyone is happy,”
Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga were noticeably absent from Saturday’s party, but Joe admitted he wasn’t “surprised” by their absence. He went on to say, “They’re unpredictable,” before wishing Luis “luck with his new in-laws.”
Joe and Teresa were married once before, back in 1999. After pleading guilty to 41 charges of fraud in March 2019, the Celebrity Apprentice alum said on a season 9 episode of RHONJ that their marriage would be over if Joe was forced to leave the country and relocate to Italy that October.
Our sources say that Teresa and Joe had discussed their future and agreed it was best for them to split while she and the girls were in Italy. It was clear that neither partner was interested in a long-distance romance. Teresa is currently caring for their daughters while Joe is on a date in Italy. Since they have no hard feelings, they plan to keep raising their children together.
While Teresa is enjoying her wedded life, Joe has come clean about how he is finally “at peace” with himself after all the turmoil of the past few years. The ex-builder has stated that while he is interested in casual relationships, he is currently focused on his career, his family, and getting back to the United States as soon as possible.
“I’m just dating around for now. I’m focusing on new projects and my petition to get back to the U.S. to be with my family, that my manager, Dominique Enchinton of Dominton Talent House is working on. You might very possibly be seeing me on TV again in the future,” he hinted to Us. “I’m excited for the next chapter. I’ve learned a lot, these last years. I’ve learned to truly live.”
