On the morning of August 8th, Fetty Wap was arrested for violating the conditions of his bail by making a threat while holding a pistol during a FaceTime call.

A video tape of the December 11, 2021 FaceTime call was submitted to the authorities, as stated in court filings. He told the person on the other end of the line,.“I’ma kill you and everybody you with.”

Fetty Wap’s claimed involvement in the possession and conspiracy to distribute controlled narcotics, as well as the threat and firearm, put him in violation of the terms of his release on November 5, 2021.

That he “shall not possess a firearm, destructive device, or other weapon” was one of the conditions of his release order. Additionally, he was required to “not break any federal, state, or municipal law.”

On October 28, 2021, Fetty Wap was arrested for his alleged involvement in a drug distribution scheme. He has since entered a not guilty plea. The next day he was arraigned on accusations of conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled narcotics, which he had been indicted for the day before.

The District Attorney’s Office for Fulton County announced additional allegations against Young Thug in an indictment on August 9.

The Atlanta rapper has been charged with machine gun possession, firearm possession during the commission of a felony, and more gang counts.

Both the March 17 arrest and the May 9 raid on Thug’s Buckhead house led to the new charges. During the course of the RICO indictment, law enforcement officials raided Thug’s home and found evidence of seven other offences.

The day of Thug’s arrest, Atlanta police and the District Attorney’s office discovered evidence that led to the addition of several extra counts against Thug and two other defendants.

The new indictment, according to Fulton County DA Fani Willis, contains 28 individuals from the original indictment from May, which targeted the group “Young Slime Life.”

There are more than two dozen YSL members, including Thug and Gunna, who have been in jail for the past three months on felony charges, including violations of the RICO Act, that could land them in prison for decades if they are found guilty.

The trial for Thug and Gunna has been set to commence in January 2023, and bond has been rejected.

A car check in Florida on Friday resulted in the arrest of rapper Kodak Black on charges of narcotics possession and trafficking, according to local authorities.

Kodak Black (born Bill Kahan Kapri) was stopped by the Florida Highway Patrol in his purple Dodge Durango for having an outdated registration tag and windows that “looked darker than the legal limit,” as Lt. Alex Camacho said, via the Miami Herald.

Police claim they detected a strong stench of marijuana coming from the vehicle, and a subsequent search revealed $74,960 in cash along with 31 oxycodone tablets.

Kapri is being jailed at Broward County Jail on allegations of trafficking oxycodone in quantities less than 25 grams and possession of a controlled narcotic without a prescription.

The rapper was charged with a felony, one counts of trafficking oxycodone, and a lesser misdemeanor of possession of a controlled narcotic, according to the Broward County clerk. At a bail hearing on Saturday morning, Black’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, was able to secure a $75,000 bond for his client’s release, according to Rolling Stone.

“Never judge a case based on an arrest. A defense may be warranted in this particular instance due to certain facts and circumstances “What Cohen revealed to Rolling Stone early Saturday morning. We’re going to get this resolved as soon as possible.

In 2019, the rapper was given a 46-month jail term for willfully filling out fake paperwork to purchase a handgun from a licensed federal dealer. In January 2021, on his last day in office, former President Donald Trump awarded Kapri clemency, complimenting him for his philanthropy.
