In February of 2023, Rihanna will perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

The 34-year-old music legend hinted on Instagram that she might perform at the NFL event next year with a photo she posted on Sunday.

Rihanna’s alleged hand is shown in the snap holding a football. The vocalist of “Umbrella” only used one period in the post’s caption.

Later, Roc Nation shared the identical photo on its own Instagram account with the caption “Let’s GO,” tagging Rihanna and the NFL and using the hashtag “#SBLVII.”

“Rihanna is one of the most gifted artists of her generation. She came from nothing and has achieved success beyond anyone’s wildest dreams. One of the most famous artists in history, born on the tiny Caribbean island of Barbados. successful in both show business and business, “Jay-Z, who had previously agreed to oversee all musical performances for the NFL, acknowledged as much in a statement obtained by The Hollywood Reporter.

According to Seth Dudowsky, NFL Head of Music, “Rihanna is a once-in-a-generation artist who has been a cultural force throughout her career. We look forward to collaborating with Rihanna, Roc Nation and Apple Music to bring fans another historic Halftime Show performance.”

On Friday, we heard from reliable sources that despite rumors and a story to the contrary, Taylor Swift would not be performing at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show. Since Swift has appeared in Apple Music commercials in the past, some Swift fans have wondered if the company will replace Pepsi as the show’s sponsor in 2019.

Rihanna has just the appropriate number of chart-topping singles to carry her through the night. The singer and entrepreneur has had 14 songs debut at the top of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 list, and 31 songs debut in the top 10. Her debut number one, “SOS,” peaked in 2006, while her most recent number one, “Work,” peaked in 2016.

Anti, her eighth studio album, was a huge success with fans and yielded the singles “Kiss It Better,” “Needed Me,” and “Love on the Brain.” It has been six years since the singer launched a new album. With the continuous success of her Fenty Beauty cosmetics line and her Savage x Fenty lingerie line, Rihanna has become the youngest self-made billionaire woman in the country, and in 2022, she and A$AP Rocky welcomed their first child.

It was disclosed earlier this week that Apple Music has signed a multi-year contract with the NFL, which includes a sponsorship of the halftime show during Super Bowl LVII. After beginning its sponsorship at the Prince concert in 2007 and continuing through a ten-year arrangement that began in 2013, Pepsi has declared that it will no longer be participating.

For a period of five years, between 2007 and 2013, the show was additionally supported by tire maker Bridgestone. Before that, the halftime show would give out sponsorships to companies like Coca-Cola and Oscar Mayer on a one-time yearly basis.

In a press statement, NFL executive Nana-Yaw Asamoah said, “We are proud to welcome Apple Music to the NFL family as our new partner for the legendary Super Bowl Halftime Show.” Apple Music, which “entertains, inspires, and encourages millions of people around the world through the interplay of music and technology,” was deemed “the perfect partner for the world’s most-watched musical performance.”

Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, and Kendrick Lamar performed at last year’s Super Bowl halftime. Dre, 56, called the performance “one of my career’s biggest joys.”

The Super Bowl will be played in Glendale, Arizona, on Feb. 12.

Kanye West apologizes for George Floyd comments, saying Adidas’s ordeal humbled him.

After claiming that George Floyd’s death was the result of fentanyl rather than police brutality in Minneapolis, Kanye West has apologized to Floyd’s family.

As reported by Consequence, West apologized for the remarks while mobbed by paparazzi on Friday (October 28).

West expressed his discomfort, saying, ““When I see that video as a Black person, it hurts my feelings, and I know that police do attack [sic] and that America is generally racist. And I understand that when we got to say Black Lives Matter, the idea of it made us feel good together as a people. Now, afterwards there was some things where the money went in order to push us to the Democratic vote.”

Finally, West admitted that he feels bad about creating conspiracy theories surrounding Floyd’s murder because adidas severed their commercial ties with him.

Accordingly, “So when I questioned the death of George Floyd, it hurt my people,” he continued. “I want to apologize. Because God has showed me by what adidas is doing, by what the media is doing, I know what it feels to have a knee on my neck right now.

“So thank you God for humbling me and letting me know how it really felt. Because how could the richest Black men ever be humbled other than to be made to not be a billionaire in front of everyone off a comment.”

They sued him for $250 million on behalf of his daughter, who is the sole heir to Floyd’s fortune, after he made some contentious comments.

The rapper also doubled down on his anti-Semitic language during Friday’s impromptu news conference, adding, “the amount of Jews killed in Nazi Germany paled in compared to the number of Black people killed by abortion.”

His recent anti-Semitic comments have apparently cost him his coveted billionaire status, and as a result, several companies have severed connections with West. Among them is Adidas.

After a week of criticism, West returned to social media and released a text message from his lawyer, Quinn Emanuel, in which he was informed of his legal options with respect to adidas and Gap, from whom he had parted ways in September.

As for Adidas, the message said, “You may now begin creating new designs for footwear, clothes, and accessories.” The end date of your non-compete with Gap is December15, 2022. The Yeezy brand and its associated trademarks are your own.

Forbes estimates that his fortune has dropped from $1.9 billion to $400 million.

Will Smith claims that Floyd Mayweather checked in with him daily for ten days after he smacked Chris Rock at the Oscars to see how he was doing.

During a private showing of his new film “Emancipation” at The London hotel, Smith revealed… , and he seized the opportunity to thank TBE for being there for him in the presence of Floyd, even if at the time they weren’t exactly great friends.

On camera, Smith remarked, “I want to say something also about Floyd.” The footage was later shared on TMZ Sports. “So, we’ve met each other, we’ve seen each other around, but we weren’t like, friends.”

“And, the day after the Oscars, for 10 days he called me every day, And, he was like, ‘Ay, you know you the champ, right? You good? You know you the champ, right? I want you to hear my voice say it,'”

“That was every day he called me … and it’s like, that’s my dude forever right there.”

In light of Smith’s reluctance to discuss the slapping event since his only public statement on the matter came in the form of an apologetic video in July, hearing him describe the days immediately following the incident is very rare.

Mayweather, for his part, thought the movie was great.

A pivotal moment in history is beautifully depicted in “Emancipation. Floyd says, “I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.”

“Watching Emancipation film last night — the picture was nothing short of wonderful! The film hit so many elements of me as a black guy in America… Will Smith is outstanding!! Every frame was Art!!!!!,” Deon exclaims.
