It’s mother and daughter time in the spotlight! Teyana Taylor, a multi-talented performer, and her six-year-old daughter Iman “Junie” Shumpert have launched a fashion line together called JuJuBeez.

There is now a famous mother-daughter team! Teyana Taylor, a multitalented performer, and her six-year-old daughter Iman “Junie” Shumpert have launched a fashion line together called JuJuBeez.

“This is one of many steps in an effort to change the narrative that is placed on women while growing up and being told what they can and cannot do. I want to change that narrative, and I will — anything is possible.”

The collection was created in collaboration between the 31-year-old singer and choreographer and Thmbl, a platform for emerging fashion labels. Taylor calls the new line a “mama-and-mini collection” because it features coordinated activewear for both adults and children. Hoodies, jackets, leggings, shorts, and bucket hats come in a wide range of hues and patterns. The kids wear varsity jackets and bucket hats with the JuJuBeez emblem. Prices start at $20 and go up to $129

Last week, the co-founder of Aunties posted an Instagram update about their new fashion business, and the response was palpable.

I have some really exciting news to share with you.

I teamed up with boss lady @babyjunie4 [and] her clothing brand @jujubeezclothing for a special mommy and me desert collection with @thmbl. We’ve been working on this for a [minute and are] sooooooooo excited to share with you guys!!” Taylor captioned a series of campaign photos.

“We play with a lot of neutrals that very much fit into my aesthetic, alongside bold graphic prints. Our first collection features active and loungewear styles that will have you acing the drop-off outfit of the day and your mini setting the hallway trends.”

Over the past two weeks, Kanye has resumed his social media rants, the most recent of which was over his ongoing legal dispute with Gap and Adidas.

The rapper has received a lot of encouragement to pursue his own ventures, and in an interview with Bloomberg published on September 12, he expressed his eagerness to do so.

“It’s time for me to go it alone,” West said. “It’s fine. I made the companies money. The companies made me money. We created ideas that will change apparel forever. Like the round jacket, the foam runner, the slides that have changed the shoe industry. Now it’s time for Ye to make the new industry. No more companies standing in between me and the audience.”

The opportunity to throw shade at the firms presented itself, and West, ever the troll, took full advantage of it.

West referred to them as his “new baby mothers.” We’re going to have to co-parent those 350s, he said, alluding to the Yeezy Boost shoes he designed for Adidas.

West’s contracts with Adidas and Gap don’t end until 2026 and 2030, respectively, so it may be a while before his full vision comes to fruition.

Kanye West is planning to expand his reign over the fashion business by opening a chain of Yeezy clothing stores in cities across the world. On Wednesday (August 31), the rapper announced the announcement in a series of social media posts, specifying that the first physical store would be situated in Georgia.

“We are going to open a Yeezy stores world wide. Starting in Atlanta,” Ye wrote in a note.

“Who would be best to open it? I’ll buy the land and or building Then we gonna up in every state and then internationally.” Yeezy added, “Anyone who has over 10 years retail experience and is ready to change the world post your instagram handle or store location in the comments and We’ll find you.”

Kanye also took aim at adidas and Gap in his recent statement. Yeezy claims they have breached their contract by failing to provide on an agreed ownership stake in retail spaces. In his defense, West argued, “I signed with both adidas and Gap because it contractually stated they would build permanent stores which neither company has done even though I saved both of those companies at the same time,”“I’ma show you how to use social media.”

Pusha T, Fivio Foreign, Consequence, and FanzzLids chairman Lawrence Berger, all through Justin LaBoy, were just some of the Hip-Hop celebrities and businesspeople who threw their support behind Ye. Further, 2 Chainz may be recruited to help launch the Atlanta Yeezy store. In the description of a post showcasing a video call between the two rappers, Kanye stated that Chainz had access to the city’s mayor. Ye wrote, “2 Chainz claimed to have the mayor’s contact info.” This may require some sloppy English, but I added the s because my mom ran the English department.

West’s Yeezy Gap collection debuted this summer, with a special release at the Gap shop in New York City’s Times Square.

LAUREN B’S JR. BEAUTY BOOT CAMP TEACHES COSMETOLOGY TO YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS

By providing guidance, encouragement, and opportunities for creative problem-solving, Lauren B.’s Jr. Beauty Boot Camp is helping to shape the beauty industry of the future.

The Beaute Box Salon has become an institution in Philadelphia’s West Oak Lane area, thanks in large part to the excellent education it provides to young women aged eighteen and up. Lauren, the shop’s owner, had an idea for how to help young girls feel confident and beautiful, so in 2017 she opened a program called Jr. Beauty Boot Camp.

This summer’s camp will include mentorship from Lauren B. as well as a range of hands-on sessions for a registration fee of $125 and will make stops in eight cities: Philadelphia, Chicago, New York, Houston, Charlotte, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Baltimore. Each participant will receive a complete beauty kit, including a mannequin head and flat irons to use in their future businesses.

As a licensed hairstylist, makeup artist, salon owner, serial entrepreneur, and mentor, the ambitious owner offers her advice and guidance to her staff and clients. Most importantly, she was initially motivated to teach and inspire since she encountered a dearth of chances while working in the hair industry.

“There were no programs for hair, and that’s what made me come up with the idea for Beauty Boot Camp,” Lauren continued. “I wanted to give back to the community and teach the girls all the things I didn’t get to learn.”

“It’s a huge deal,” Lauren told CBS Philly. “To see my girls leave my program and actually become successful entrepreneurs, it’s amazing. Just to know that I built them up to what they’ve become today, it’s amazing.”
